Application Systems Engineer
Job Description:Develop automation scripts of front and back-end test case scenarios using GQS framework and Validate functionality of critical business flow of products execution cycle and improve product quality of the application. Responsible for building GQS (Global Quality Services) Framework by utilizing object orient programming concepts and Enhances framework by continuous recommendations and suggestions. Maintain automation test scripts and achieve Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing in (CI/CD) Pipeline. Validate Webservices APIs. Analyze Business Requirements and Functional Requirements. Attends Business reviews and walkthrough of flow diagrams along with business users to discuss the various business-critical flows to identify testability and will carry out the Quality Testing Activities. Assists in the development of software quality engineering (SQE) project plans by participating in the identification of project scope and level-of-effort (LOE) estimates. Development of software quality engineering (SQE) test strategy, functional test plan for IT initiatives across multiple domains by analyzing business documents, requirement traceability matrix document. Collaborate across multiple teams (Dev, QA, DBA, App support team, Production) for troubleshooting environmental and application issues to resolve the issues faster in order to unblock testing activities and work with DevOps to achieve Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing (CI/CD). Perform peer reviews of automation scripts developed by the other team members and submit for code review and enhancing the scripts and scenarios as per the change in business requirements and functional requirement. Analyze and consolidate test execution Report, provide summary and graphs generated during test executions to the concerned stakeholders on progress made on product being developed in the performance testing lifecycle and also driving focus on quality, reporting metrics with client about the relative health of the application. Identify, define and mitigate issues, dependencies and risks related to testing. Identify and escalate quality risks, issues, conflicts and/or resistance across teams throughout the SDLC. Review defect and assign valid defects to the relevant developer/development manager and ensure the resolved defects are re-tested and regression is performed on every build to ensure the existing functionality is not broken with new added functionality and defect fixes.
Minimum Qualification Required:
Required Masters or its foreign equivalent in CS, MIS, Engineering (Any), CIS, or related field. Required travel and relocation to various client sites throughout the USA.
